Coming up on the 23rd of March is National Chip and Dip Day! We know there are a lot of types of chips and dips, ranging from pita and hummus to potato chips and french onion dip. But, we also know that our chips and dips are the freshest youāll find from any authentic Mexican restaurant like Felipeās. All of our dips are made from scratch daily using all fresh ingredients; that means that nothing youāre putting in your mouth has ever been in a can. Our favorite dips are the queso, guacamole, and salsa fresca.
Our queso is made with roasted peppers, jalapenos, and Mexican lager. Our queso is truly gooey, melty, and wonderful, and in my opinion, thereās nothing better to dip our tortilla chips in.
Our guacamole is made using avocados, lime juice, onions, and serrano peppers. Itās spicy, itās tangy, and itās pretty dang delicious. Eat it on tacos, eat it on chips, eat it on burritos–heck, eat it with a spoon for all we care! No matter what you eat it on or with, we know that itāll knock your socks off.
The salsa fresca has fresh serrano and jalapeno peppers, giving it a nice kick of spice. All of the other ingredients, like tomatoes and onions, are prepared when theyāre the freshest, so that our salsa has the best flavor.
