Free Shots and Super Burritos

NEW ORLEANS – Known for rolling a Super burrito, New Orleans-based Felipeā€™s Mexican Taqueria is asking citizens to roll up their sleeves and help in the fight against COVID-19 Friday, May 21, as the restaurant, in conjunction with the City of New Orleans and Ochsner Health will be giving away a free Super Burrito for patrons who get vaccinated.

Taking place at Felipeā€™s location in Mid-City from 2-6 p.m. Friday, patrons will have the opportunity to receive their free first dose of the Pfizer vaccine or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine on-site with the help of members of the Ochsner Health team.

Once administered, guests will create their one-of-a-kind, made-from-scratch Super Burrito for free from Felipeā€™s fresh list of ingredients.

From 2-4 p.m. on Friday, the French Quarter and Uptown locations will be closed to allow members of the Felipeā€™s team to get the vaccine.
