BOGO Margaritas for National Tequila Day!
Try to stay calm. Take some deep breaths. No, you’re not going crazy. National Tequila Day is legit.
We’re all thinking it… Who determines these kinds of things? Who came up with National Tequila Day? After a good ten minutes of searching on Google, I gave up. However, to be honest, I don’t really care who initiated National Tequila Day. I’m more concerned about how I will celebrate this VERY important day.
Felipe’s Mexican Taqueria is set to celebrate National Tequila Day on Tuesday, July 24th, by offering BOGO margaritas! Felipe’s classic handmade key-lime margaritas are made fresh to order. The simple recipe includes 100% blue agave tequila, fresh squeezed key limes, a house-made orange liqueur, and agave syrup.
Staying true to its mission of curating authentic recipes, the Felipe’s team traveled to the Herradura distillery in Jalisco, Mexico and handpicked the Double Barrel Reposado Tequila which is aged for up to a year in a charred oak barrel and then re-barreled into a virgin white oak barrel for one month more.
Perfect timing? National Tequila Day falls on Taco Tuesday this year. Reposado tequila is the perfect compliment to any of Felipe’s authentic scratch-made recipes, especially the tacos.
It should come as no surprise that I will be celebrating Tequila’s biggest day at Felipe’s. Turn your Tuesday inside out and celebrate National Tequila Day at Felipe’s! For More information, see our Facebook event.
